oh hello there!

I’m MEL! I grew up in Massachusetts but now live on the Connecticut river in a wood cabin with my patient husband, two cats, three rats, one fish and a handful of chickens.

I was born in 1989 and share a birthday with Britney Spears.

FILM IS THE BEST. Fight me on it. It might take a bit more prep time but its easier for me to fall in love with digital scans when starting from a film base! I LOVE SHOOTING ANALOGUE.

I’m hella weird and silly. If someone knocks on the bathroom door I always involuntarily scream “SOR-RY” in a British accent. I talk about my cats way too much, but will also listen to you talk about your cats forever (or other pets, DO YOU HAVE A PET BIRD AND IF SO CAN WE BE FRIENDS?) I’m really here to bring the fun! I want to help make memories from all your excellent adventures.

“They say time is precious and there's no going back
Shit, if I could only unfreeze this photograph
And dive in the windows of my eyes to feel how I felt
Inside right in that moment in time, I'd bring it all back to life”
