MYLES & BELLA : community in Little Compton Rhode Island weddincaptured on film

Bella & Myles wanted a day centered around community, and damn did they pull it off. From the ceremony in their quaint historic small town church to the reception held waterfront i their own backyard everything was tailored celebrate the people and community they love.
Bella and her squad got ready in town together at a family residence. Eveyone has matching coastal button downs and slippers to wear while getting ready. The coolest thing I arrived to was the array of PINK SHOES each of the maids had picked out to go with their colorful dresses. If you have worked with me before, you know I LOVE playing with shoes. We styled them on the quentissental New England rock wall in the backyard.
Myles's mother made ALL the bouquets and flower arrangements with the help of family and friends. The colorful bouquets complimented the mismatched dresses of the bridesmaids.
The boys got ready at Bella & Myles home, in the man cave (barn). Their beloved doggo was also in attendance. Since the first look was only a few houses away, the boys all rode in the back of pickup trucks to the next family home for the first look and family & friend portraits.
Afterwards everone headed to the church for the ceremony where vows were exchanged and confetti was thrown. Myles & Bella took a getaway car to the harbor with my second photog for a quick photo sessiona and then I met them back at the barn for some photos with their pupper!
A long drive through the beef fields led to the most magical reception spot on the water. Fruit saplings were used to hold bistro lights over the cocktail space. Bella & Myles planted these trees on the property after their wedding!! All the florals were done by Myles's mother and their community of family & friends helped create the ambiance of the space. An antique library cabinent hooused the escort cards where guests got to interactivly look up their name in the alphabetized catalogue. Photos of loved ones were set up to honor weddings of the past. Mismatched china and pattered napkins created a cozy and vintage asthetic.
Katie Dickson with Bywater Restaurant, @bywaterwarren created the 4 course menu using the beef from Bella & Myles own cows!!! Everything was served family style to emphasize the giant family party atmosphere.
After dinner the band then took the stage for a short first dance where Bella and Myles invited their friends and family to join in the celebration!
